It was so great getting to collaborate with Conor Hanick and play a piece that had been on my wish list for a while - John Adams’ Road Movies.
It's been a really disorienting time in the era of COVID-19. While quarantining in a basement for two weeks, I played around with stuffed animals and discovered stop motion. Thought I'd share them here!
Two Minstrels is about my two violins, Ryan the Modern the violin and Jason the Baroque violin (named after their makers, I didn't just choose random guys' names!). They have very different personalities, but they love to travel and tell their stories to people. My job is to create programs where they both can have a voice and strut their stuff!
